Who We Are
The owners, Chris and Nick Montana, have spent over thirty years in the motorsports business before opening Pro Chassis Design in 2000. Their racing experience is evident by their campaigning of a Pro-Modified car in the NHRA as well as IHRA, where they gained firsthand knowledge of what it takes to build a winning chassis. Their dedication to motorsports and deep understanding of chassis dynamics set them apart in the industry.
Every single project that Pro Chassis Design works on exhibits both modern, cutting-edge designs and amazing workmanship, reflecting their commitment to excellence and precision. Whether it’s a full chassis build, a custom modification, or a complete restoration, they bring a unique blend of practical racing experience and innovative engineering to the table. What We Do
We cover all phases of chassis design and construction for every type of drag race vehicle, including creating entire cars from the ground up. Whether it’s pro/street show cars, bracket racers, 25.1 and 25.2 chassis cars or stock front suspension “street cars” for NMCA-type heads up racing, we always deliver projects with the finest quality that are on time and within your budget. Our company knows that a “one size fits all” approach just doesn’t work, and can’t meet our customer’s needs. This is why we customize each of our projects to suit our customers’ performance objectives, class requirements, and budget.

We’ve proudly provided services for renowned racers like Benny Allfonso, Tim Taub, Ronny Iannotti, Chris Connor, Joe Newshams, as well as Dominic and Marcello Mastroianni. It’s not uncommon for our customers to see gains of .05 seconds in the 60-foot time, even on chassis that were previously considered “optimized,” proving that there’s always room for improvement with the right expertise.
A great example of our commitment to performance is George Stack’s 1998 Monte Carlo Super Gas/Comp bracket car.
